You can download the mp3 of the song right now, exclusively at Amazon.com.  The new CD Workin’ on a Dream hits stores January 27th, 2009, right before Bruce and the E Street Band’s appearance at the Super Bowl February 1st.

Many fans have said that they love the songs on Bruce’s albums since The Rising, but aren’t crazy about Brendan O’Brien’s “muddy” “am radio” production.  What do you think?  Comment and let us know.

Boss Drives Crowd Hog Wild

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

Bruce Springsteen ended his tour with E Street Band this Labor Day weekend with a performance in Milwaukee celebrating Harley Davidson’s 105th Anniversary. Backstreets.com reports that this final show was the longest of the Magic tour, clocking in at just over three and a half hours and featuring covers including “Wooly Bully”, and appropriately, “Born To Be Wild”. Of Springsteen’s two other ‘Born’ songs, “Born in the U.S.A.” was not played, but “Born to Run” was, much to the crowd’s delight.

While Springsteen’s political views may have clashed with those of the bikers, they could agree on their love of music, and of course, Harleys. Photos of the Boss on motorcycles throughout his career were cheered as enthusiastically as some of the E Street Band’s most well-loved tunes.

Springsteen called the Magic tour “the best tour of our lives.” Springsteen fans, tell us how the Magic tour rates in your book — comment and let us know.
